Before: The Rockstar and I are sad tomatoes. After: happy clams. |

I'm Tracy and I'm 44 years old. I'm a wife, mom, programmer, personal trainer, group- ex trainer, fitness freak
and all around over-achiever.
I started my fitness/weightloss career in the early 80's after I got my first Jane Fonda workout book. I am personal trainer, instructor trainer, national presenter, I trained my college football team, I worked for companies such as Proctor and Gamble as their fitness director. I've worked alongside professional body builders, celebrities, elite athletes as well as health seekers in my community. Believe me when I say fitness is and always has been in my blood. I've seen it all and it shaped me into the trainer I am today. |

The years were a blurr .
After 17 years, I sustained an injury which was hampering my ablity to work in the gym. At the same time, Rob and I had started our own Web Development company and my focus shifted.
For several years, Rob and I worked at our desks 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We ate bad food and we ate lots of it. We drank soda by the gallon, fast food by the bag full, take out and more junk food than you can imagine.
Not only did I get fat, I became depressed,
Agoraphobic, had horrible mood swings, Heartburn/Acid reflux, PMDD, heart pains & my hands were numb constantly.I was unwell and exhausted .
I couldn't keep it together. My poor family.
My internal dialog was hateful and I felt bad about myself because I of all people should know better. |

| ENOUGH!! |
| One day we went to the mall and I had the shock of a life time. I barely had enough energy to shop!
I was at my wits end. I knew I was in trouble. I knew that someone with my past
health and fitness experience should be able to fix this! I'd been telling myself I'll 'start' tomorrow but tomorrow never came. Well..that day,was the day I said "ENOUGH". I was tired of looking bad and feeling worse. I decided to get off SUGAR and discovered that all the "diet" foods I was buying were feeding
my sugar addiction! Hidden sugars had me jonesing for my next fix! I started searching the web for ideas on clean eating and began my journey back into health and fitness. |

| CHANGES! |
After getting back on track, I am no longer the same person I was. I have completely overhauled my eating and lifestyle. I no longer eat meat which shocks everyone. I found that the hormones in meat and dairy were effecting my moods. Rob and I use Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet Recharged as our eating guide and follow a non-processed food diet. It's not hard. I don't really "love' vegetables but eating meatless doesn't mean all you get is raw califlower. We eat well. The foods we eat are so much healthier and have more flavor. I can actually taste my food now because it's not loaded with preservatives and salt. We cook very creatively and find that we now crave' good food'.
I also have changed how I feel about food. I try very hard to eat to fuel my body so I'm efficient in my day. Since cleaning up my diet, I rarely get sick anymore. Sugar supresses the immune system so without that I'm much healthier! Most of my other concerns cleared promptly after starting a clean eating program.
We try very hard to stay on track and for us what works is the 80/20 rule. On track at least 80 percent of the time so that the times we can't find what we need we don't beat ourselves up. We are both committed to staying healthy, young and fit and we are much happier as a family for it. |

| FITNESS IS MY LIFE |
| I love being a trainer. My group- ex and PT clients are very important to me and each one of them inspires me to try harder.I get excited when I see the light "go on" and they realize that they can succeed. I am always continuing my education in the fitness field. I'm comitted to helping others succeed. |
